Privacy Policy
This page is the public privacy page for the ORDO website and the unified privacy entry for ORDO software we publish. Unless a product page or in-product privacy page provides a more specific supplement, the software privacy principles on this page apply to all published ORDO software. Product-specific supplements add detail about permissions, data items, and export/delete controls; they do not narrow the commitments stated here.
One page, three layers
- Unified software privacy principles: these apply to all published ORDO software.
- Product-specific supplements: these describe the exact data, permissions, and controls for a specific product. The current ORDO Return · Notion privacy policy is included below and kept aligned with the in-product page.
- Website / support / order communications: this explains the minimum information we may process when you use the website, request support, or discuss orders.
If a published product later receives its own public privacy page, that page will operate as a product supplement to this one.
Unified software privacy principles
- No monitoring, no scoring, no rankings: ORDO software is built to help you return to work and return to judgment, not to create continuous surveillance of people.
- Minimum processing, local first where possible: we process the minimum information needed to make the product work; when something can remain local by default, we keep it local.
- No cross-site tracking and no sale of personal data: we do not process your information for ad profiling, cross-site tracking, or behavioral intervention, and we do not sell personal data.
- You stay in control: published software should provide checkable permission explanations and a way to export, delete, or clear local data whenever the product design allows it.
Exact data fields, permission names, and interaction surfaces may differ by product, so the matching product supplement should still be read together with these shared principles.
ORDO Return · Notion
The text below matches the product’s current built-in privacy policy so the public website and the software stay aligned on the same commitments.
Principles
No monitoring, no scoring, no rankings
ORDO Return helps you resume work with a stop point, a next action, and a small materials box. We do not scan Notion content in the background, do not listen to keystrokes, and do not push disruptive reminders.
- Project cards are written only when you click “Pause” or “Resume”.
- Crash-safe stores a minimal local checkpoint only for explainable recovery. No page body is collected or uploaded.
- You can export or delete local data at any time.
What we store
Minimum information required to resume (local-only)
- Project card
- Title, next action, stop-point link (Notion URL), and up to 2 material links per card
- Crash-safe checkpoint
- Stop-point metadata + timestamps + clean-shutdown marker (used for recovery prompts)
- Optional local metrics
- Minimal counters/durations (no content, no URLs, no titles; never uploaded)
What we do not do
No Notion body access, no background tracking
- We do not collect Notion page body, block content, or database fields.
- We do not build profiles or track you across websites.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Permissions
Why the extension requests permissions
activeTab- Reads the current tab URL/title only when you click “Pause/Resume/Open panel” to write a stop point.
storage- Stores project cards and settings locally.
scripting- Injects a small locator script on Notion to highlight the stop point and extract material links (no page body).
alarms- Used for Crash-safe heartbeat and throttled writes (no notification reminders).
sidePanel- Displays the side panel UI.
Export & Delete
You stay in control
- Export: JSON / CSV for backup or migration.
- Delete: one-click deletion of local data (cards, settings, checkpoints).
- If you request support, you can choose to export diagnostics as a local file.

ORDO website and communication channels
ORDO treats “verifiable facts” as the boundary—rather than monitoring people. This section explains the minimal information we may process when you use this site, contact Support, or discuss orders.
1. What we don’t do
- No ad profiling. We don’t sell personal data.
- No cross-site tracking. No default collection for scoring/ranking/behavioral intervention.
2. Information we may collect
- Information you submit: when you contact us via forms or email, we receive what you provide (name, email, message) and any factual materials you choose to include (e.g., screenshots, order details).
- Order communications: when you email orders@ordoinc.com, we process the minimum information needed to fulfill the order and related communications.
- Basic logs: hosting/CDN providers may log requests (IP, user-agent, timestamps, paths) for security and debugging.
3. How we use it
- To respond to support and after-sales requests, and to improve the accuracy of public information.
- To communicate about orders, delivery, and necessary reconciliation.
- To maintain site security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot.
4. Sharing & processors
We only share information with service providers when necessary to operate the site, communications, or delivery (e.g., hosting/CDN, email, logistics). We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
We keep information only for the minimum period needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize where applicable.
6. Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided to us. Use the Support page and include enough verifiable details for us to locate the record.
7. Updates
We will publish updates on this page. We prefer changes that remain checkable (what changed, what it affects, and how to verify).
